Steampunk Jetgun Sword

The Jetgun Sword is the primary weapon of Jaim Yahmes, a steampunk character of mine. He took a finished sword and augmented it with his own ideas.
The sword is 147cm long, while the blade is 95cm. The thick part at the tip of the handle is a counterweight, making it easier to aim with the gun.

Aside from using it like a normal sword (it's possible to use it for one-handed and two-handed techniques), the Jetgun Sword has two additional abilities, as its name gives away. These abilities are powered by the two steam cells (the blue thingies).
The cannon fires energy bursts that explode on impact. It drains from the larger cell and can fire 50 shots until the cell is depleted.
The jet funktion increases the impact of strikes. The ring with the arcs is part of the mechanism, the arcs appear when it is activated. It drains from the smaller cell. If activated, it will last for a bit over 2 minutes until the steam cell is depleted, which is said to be enough for about 100 attacks.
