Syra Compilation

The Syra are a race driven by curiosity. Their ships are advanced in every aspect, but their most advanced technology is sensors and scanners. Every ship, even cargo haulers and warships are equipped with more sensor equipment than explorer ships of other species. This is not to analyze enemies, but simply because they constantly hope to discover something new.
The player first encounters the Syra when an unarmed robot ship is found in Terran space, which lost contact with its homeworld.
Syra ships had a longer range than other comparable ships, came with density scanners and IFF decoders (showed size and alignment of ships on the radar) and their radar was not influenced by interferences.
The Syra ships were radically redesigned during the making of the game, the small images show the original designs.

Sadly I had to stop working on Dark Swarp because of resource loss and programs no longer working under newer operating systems.
